Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of this new day and for watching over me throughout the night. Your protection has kept me safe from harm, and for that, I am grateful. You are an awesome Father, and I praise your holy name. As I start this day, I commit myself into your mighty care. Renew my heart with your strength and purpose, and give me the strength I need to face whatever comes my way. Guide me and order my steps in the right direction in this world full of temptations and struggles. When I`m weak, carry me, and be my rock and fortress, my shield and tower. Help me to anchor myself in you and walk by truth rather than my feelings. As I go about my day, may I embrace everything that comes my way and point others to you. Protect and guide my family and friends, and bless them with all goodness. Cover them and their activities with your precious blood and keep them safe from every evil. I am grateful for the gift of family and friends, and holding them in my heart is precious to me. Open doors of opportunities for me, and bless me so that I can be a blessing to my family and society. Direct me to know what to say and how to say it, and make me bold enough to proclaim salvation cheerfully and joyfully. Help me to stay focused on you and to be content in all circumstances. May my joyfulness glorify you, even in times of stress. If I ever lose hope, please help me to be still and know that you are God. Let your face continually shine upon me, and establish the work of my hands. Bring to fulfillment all that you have given me to do, and make my ways purposeful and my footsteps firm out of your goodness and love. I know that no matter what I face, you would never give me more than I can handle. You are my pillar of support, and I pray that you will support me throughout the day by giving me the capacity I need. Go before me today and make every way straight.
