Heavenly Father, Thank you for the gift of this new day and for watching over me throughout the night. I acknowledge you as an awesome Father and commit this day into your care. As the world is renewed fresh and clean, please renew my heart with your strength and purpose. Grant me the strength I need to face whatever comes my way today and guide my steps in the right direction. In this world full of temptations and struggles, I pray that you will be my rock, fortress, shield, and tower. Help me to anchor myself to you and walk by the truth, not depending on my feelings. May every opportunity that comes my way be an opportunity to see you at work in my life, and may I use it to point others to you. Thank you for the gift of family and friends. I pray that you will protect and guide them, covering them and their activities in your precious blood. Bless them with all goodness. As I step out today, I cover myself with the blood of Jesus and ask that you open doors of opportunities and bless me so that I can be a blessing to my family and society. Direct me, dear Lord, to know what to say and how to say it. Give me the boldness to proclaim salvation cheerfully and joyfully.
