Dear Heavenly Father, I humbly come before you today seeking your strength to sustain me in my time of weakness and pain. May your grace be near me, so that my strength and courage may not falter according to your will. As stated in Second Corinthians chapterverse, I pray that you keep me from being puffed up with pride because of the many wonderful things I have seen. If it is your will, may any physical ailment or suffering that acts as Satan`s messenger to beat me and keep me from being proud, be taken away. However, I also understand that your grace is all I need, and your power is greatest when I am weak, as stated in the same chapterverse. Therefore, I am willing to be proud of my weaknesses in order to feel the protection of Christ`s power over me, as your word instructs. As your word in First Peter chapterverse promises, I believe that you will restore me, make me strong, firm, and steadfast, after I have suffered a little while. May you restore every loss of strength in me and take this weakness far from my dwelling. I pray that you overshadow me with your glory so that others may see your goodness and give praise to your holy name. Thank you, Lord, for being my strength in times of weakness. I pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. |
