Dear Father, I humbly approach your presence today to ask for your strength. Please be with me in my moments of weakness and pain, and sustain me by your grace so that my courage and strength will not falter, in accordance with your will. In 2 Corinthians chapter and verse, it is said that to prevent me from becoming too proud because of the wonderful things I have experienced, a painful physical ailment was given to me, which acts as Satan`s Messenger to keep me humble. I prayed to you three times to remove this affliction, but your response was that your grace is all I need, for your power is greatest when I am weak. Therefore, I am content with my weaknesses because it is then that Christ`s power is strongest in me. As stated in 1 Peter chapter and verse, the God of all grace who called me to his eternal glory in Christ will restore me after a little while of suffering and make me strong, firm, and steadfast. I pray that you restore every loss of strength in me and take away this weakness from me. May your glory overshadow me so that others may witness your goodness and give praise to your holy name. Thank you, Lord, for being my strength in times of weakness. I ask all of this in Jesus` name. Amen. |
